At least the commercials are over and the signs will come down. This was perhaps the meanest-spirited most bitter election campaign I've seen. There were not only ad wars, but there were sign wars. The opposition would put their sign on either side of the candidate's sign in order to block it. And it wasn't a pro-opposition sign that was placed, it would be an anti-candidate sign. I've never seen that before. And it was both parties that did that, not just one. I'm just glad it's over.
